The Lindis Pass is the highest point in the South Island’s state highway network. In summer the Pass is hot and dry, and in winter it is often covered in ice and snow. It is a beautiful place, visited by many. The dusting of snow and lovely light on this August afternoon gave me a chance to capture an image which was a little different to the usual golden hills.
